Pursuing the Jesus Who First Pursued Us
Out of the security of knowing the Christ Jesus who has made Paul His own, he passionately pursues a relationship with this Jesus who loved Him and gave His life for him. He knows that while on this earth there will always be more of Jesus that he can know and more of His love that he can experience.
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year?
Even with our heavy hearts. Even in the midst of loss, uncertainty, sickness, grief and suffering, we know that over 2,000 years ago, a baby was born who would change everything. In the same way the world waited for the Messiah’s birth, we wait for His return. We wait for Him to make all things new, to wipe away every tear from every eye.
"And They Cheered!"
It is no small matter, not because Northridge was vastly different than the hundreds of other churches in Middle Georgia, but because it is not vastly different, because 11 am is still the most segregated hour of Christian America. It is right that they cheered. This is an incredible work of the Spirit! It is the manifold wisdom of God on display for all the world to see and we get to be a part of it!
