A Thrill Of Hope

“A Thrill of Hope.”
”His gospel is peace.”

This song is such a beautiful reminder of what our Mighty God has done for us. Through His Son, He brings hope, joy, love, and peace…everlasting! What a gift of grace!

I know for many, Christmas is a more associated with pain and sadness rather than happiness and joy. For some it’s a reminder of those who are no longer with us. For others it’s a reminder of loneliness or what we are lacking.

Know that Christmas is all about the Son of God coming to us. In our need, in our brokenness, in our sadness, in our loneliness, Christ took on flesh to meet us where we are, to be with us. This is a glorious, mighty, humble thing our God has done for us. He is the Savior of the world that was promised years and years ago. The Savior who would finally defeat sin, death, loneliness, anxiety, all of the bad things. Thank you, Jesus.

We had a lot of fun making this video and I hope you enjoy it!!

Oh holy night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world, in sin and error pining
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth

A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks, a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees, oh hear the angel voices
Oh night divine, oh night, when Christ was born
Oh night divine, oh night, oh night divine

Truly He taught us to love one another
His law is love and His gospel is peace
Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother
And in His name, all oppression shall cease

Sweet hymns of joy, in grateful chorus raise we
Let all within us praise His holy name
Fall on your knees, oh hear the angel voices
Oh night divine, oh night, when Christ was born
Oh night divine, oh night, oh night divine

Christ is the Lord, O praise His name forever
His pow'r and glory evermore proclaim
Fall on your knees, oh hear the angel voices
Oh night divine, oh night, when Christ was born
Oh night divine, oh night, oh night divine
